A massive well done to the students at St. Eithne's GNS who created these wonderful insect hotels. This Biodiversity project was organised by out TY students as part of the World Wise Global Schools community initiative.
These are just some of the brilliant works created by the local primary school students in Scoil Eoin in collaboration with our TY endeavour with World Wise Global Schools. The painted and packed Insect Hotels display such high levels of student creativity. They certainly make a bright and educational addition to the school grounds. Congratulations to our local primary students for your amazing and innovative work promoting Biodiversity!
If you are interested in creating your very own Insect Hotel and accompanying artwork, take a look at the TikToks linked below. Our TY students created two quick and innovative TikToks demonstrating the creation of both the Hotel and the artwork. Enjoy!
A huge congratulations to two of our very own 6th year students, Lisa and Kate, on their interview with RTE Radio 'Morning Ireland'. Marking the beginning of their Leaving Certificate exams, they discuss their thoughts and hopes for the future, and the challenges they faced preparing for the Leaving Certificate during Covid-19. Lisa and Kate did a great job, surely voicing the thoughts of many 6th year students across the country this morning! We really recommend giving this a listen!
We want to wish all of our 6th years the best of luck in the next two weeks!

Today marks the final day of our 'Project Based Learning' initiative here at Ardscoil La Salle. The week has been a great success, with students creating innovative and creative projects in response to their theme.
The morning began with a school-wide online presentation of the students projects, which showcased an array of posters, short films, podcasts and more. Following the presentation, students were encouraged to view some of the projects at our PBL Exhibition. There, the students were able to explore the works up close, and discuss them with their peers and those who created them.
Linked below is our Exhibition Video and the Digital works created by our students.
We hope you enjoy the projects- we sure did!
Congratulations to all of our students. You have done an amazing job!!
