The Transition Year class are opening a school bank. The class applied for various roles in the bank and the bank manager from Bank of Ireland, Raheny, Deirdre Kane came and interviewed students for the bank roles.

All TY students will be involved in running the bank, however, a number of very important roles were given to the following students Eoghan Gilroy (Bank Manager), Jackie Corr (Assistant Bank Manager), James Brady (Sales and Marketing Manager), Adam Maher (Operations and Audit Manager) and Niamh Reid (Customer Service Manager).

The school bank managers visited the Bank of Ireland today for a visit and to gain insight into how a bank is run. We greatly enjoyed our bank visit and wish to thank the staff at Bank of Ireland, Raheny especially Deirdre Kane. We will be opening our school bank very soon.

Senators Lynn Ruanne and Fintan Warfield brought together a group of 22 students to discuss the upcoming bill to reduce the voting age to 16 in local and European elections.

This was an amazing opportunity for students to come together as a collective group, discuss their opinions and ideas around such an issue and hopefully have their voice heard during the decision making process in the Seanad.

Ardscoil la Salle student Eoghan Gilroy has been working closely with the senators to coordinate the event and Adam Maher was our school representative.

Fingal Library has made a powerful online research tool available to our students. All that is required is the library card barcode number.
