Limited Places available for First Year in 2020

Local schools (in the Howth Deanery) have now applied through the Deanery form. However, each year there are a limited number of places for direct application to the school. Anyone may apply directly. The number of places is very limited, as Ardscoil La Salle makes a feature of small classes and an overall number which allows every student to know every other student. These 'extra' places are expected to be taken up very quickly. If you are interested please phone 01 848 0055 or email secretary@ardscoillasalle.ie .

This year the student council have done amazing work, once again raising over €200 for St. Francis Hospice through our annual Christmas jumper day. After the success of the Valentine’s day cards the last two years we decided to spread the love around the Della again, so that every student could come collect a card and send one to their lover or friend.

Ending our year will be the Trinity College Dublin data collection project. A survey which will help shape Ireland’s education system in hope that it will serve all students, not just a select few.

Lastly, I would like to thank you all for your continued support over the past four years. My time on the student council has shaped and enhanced my experience here at Ardscoil La Salle, and it has been an honour to be your councillor.

Thank you to my classmates, the Class of 2019 for being the best constituents anyone could have. Thank you to management, Ms Griffin, Ms Higgins and Mr. Mythen and to all the teachers whose classes I left for “Student Council business” for all your support throughout the years, we could not have achieved so much without your support, thank you.

Last but most certainly not least, thank you to Ms. Dever for being the glue which held the council together all these years, and constantly pushing me to be the best I can be, you have been by far the most enjoyable part of the student council, and I appreciate everything you have done for me and the council.
