ARDSCOIL LA SALLE WILL BE CLOSED TO STUDENTS AND VISITORS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
KEEP SAFE - KEEP OTHERS SAFE - KEEP YOUR DISTANCE
Local schools (in the Howth Deanery) have now applied through the Deanery form. However, each year there are a limited number of places for direct application to the school. Anyone may apply directly. The number of places is very limited, as Ardscoil La Salle makes a feature of small classes and an overall number which allows every student to know every other student. These 'extra' places are expected to be taken up very quickly. If you are interested please phone 01 848 0055 or email email@example.com .
Our TYs are hard at work building the props for this years Panto 'Sleeping Cutie'! They're a dedicated and extremely creative group who are making sure that the show goes off without a hitch and that it looks amazing in the process!
Save the date!! Here at Ardscoil La Salle we are proud to announce that the social event of the year will take place on the 27th and 28th of January...the Transition Year Panto 'Sleeping Cutie' and Della's got Talent! This years Panto will be sure to raise the roof and have you shouting out "He's behind you!". Our exceptionally talented TY's, with the help of our very enthusiastic First Year dancers, are putting together a show which will be like nothing you've ever seen on stage before... and all to the music of 'Queen' and Freddie Mercury! Everyone is welcome to attend and we hope to see you there.
Our 5th year, 6th year and LCA students had a great trip to the Criminal Courts of Justice today. They were able to observe mock trials, speak to barristers and get a taste of the world of Law! They had such an insightful and educational day which will no doubt benefit them in their future career paths and choices!
We want to congratulate our 3rd Year and Transition Year students for raising a massive €1615 for 'Focus Ireland' by bag packing in Dunnes Stores in Donaghmede.
It was wonderful to work alongside Laura Horan, a past pupil of the school, who is an events organiser for the homelessness charity. Our students had a great experience and can't wait to get involved in future fundraising events!
Here at Ardscoil La Salle we are extremely proud of our LCA and Transition Year students. In the previous months they have been volunteering weekly with the charity 'Third Age' to teach digital skills to people in the local community who are retired from work. The Programme co-ordinator Yvonne Keane said of our students, "What a fabulous bunch, truly lovely, helpful, kind and very knowledgeable. They are a credit to their families and the School." The programme has been a tremendous success so far and we look forward to working with the charity again in the New Year!
